Co-op Net is Cooperative Bank of Kenya Internet Banking Service, which enables individual customers, business owners, corporate companies, and institutions (e.g. schools, government institutions) to do various transactions and monitor their bank accounts through the internet.

With Cooperative Bank of Kenya Internet Banking you can:

-View, download, or print account statements for all your Co-op Accounts
-Start, stop or amend standing orders – real time
-Transfer cash to another Co-op account – real time (up to 500,000)
-Transfer cash to another local bank – in 1 working day (up to 500,000)
-Transfer cash to foreign account in foreign currency
-Pay utility bills e.g. KPLC, DSTV, NAIROBI WATER
-Make bulk payments (pay many people at the same time) e.g. salaries, dividends, loan disbursements,
-bonuses, supplier payments.
-Order cheque books, stop cheques

Every time you want to log in, you will be required to enter two passwords: the one you received at registration, and another one you will receive on SMS or generate using a ‘token’ at the point of logging in. The one you receive on SMS or generate using the ‘token’ is a one-time password that cannot be changed or repeated again.

The system will log you out if you leave your internet browser idle for a while. This offers some level of safety for customers who access their account at a cyber cafés and other public internet access points.

How to Register for Cooperative Bank of Kenya Internet Banking:

Visit your nearest Co-op Bank branch and provide the following:

Existing Co-op Bank Customers:

-Completed application form
-Completed token collection form

Non-Co-op Customers (businesses, corporate companies, instititions):

-Completed application form
-Completed token collection form
-Certificate of Incorporation
-Memorandum & Articles of Association
-National ID/Passport copies of the company’s directors
-Once the application has been approved, the User ID and Password are automatically generated by the Co-op Net system and sent to your email address.

If you prefer to be generating the second password using a token, you will collect it once your application has been approved, at a small fee.

Can a customer use Cooperative Bank of Kenya Internet Banking if they live outside Kenya?

Yes. Being an internet based system, you can access Co-op Net anywhere, as long as you have internet access.

What are the charges for using Cooperative Bank of Kenya Internet Banking?

Monthly fee:

-Corporate customers – Kes.1,000
-SME customers – Kes.500
-Individual customers – Kes. 100

Yes, you can withdraw from the service. All you need to do is give a letter to the bank with instructions requesting us to terminate the service. For a business or corporate customer, all the signatories will need to sign the letter.
