Moi Forces Academy Nairobi is located along Juja Road next to Moi Air Base-Eastleigh, Nairobi and it is a unique institution as it comprises of Nursery, Pre-Unit, Primary and Secondary Division.
Moi Forces Academy Nairobi was born as a request by the Nursery School Children at the Moi Air Base to His Excellency the former President Daniel T. arap Moi, to build for them a school to avoid long travel to distant primary schools. In being committed to the welfare of others, His Excellency the Former President embarked on the request by the little ones.
Moi Forces Academy Nairobi was to be a Centre of Excellence for the children of the Armed Forces. The school begun as a mixed boarding secondary school and day primary division.
In the year 1990, the secondary division became wholly boys school with the transfer of girls to Moi Forces Academy – Lanet. The school stands on 56 Hectares of land donated by the Kenya Air Force, Moi Air Base.
