Lemon and Coconut Oil.
Lemon is acidic in nature which helps to balance the PH of the scalp therefore preventing and treating dandruff.
How to use Lemon for Dandruff Treatment.
To use lemon for dandruff treatment, squeeze some lemon juice into some warm coconut oil and apply it on the scalp. Massage it gently and leave it on for 30 minutes then wash it off. You can use this remedy once or twice a week to get a healthy and dandruff free hair.
Aloe Vera contains antibacterial and anti-fungal properties that are effective in fighting dandruff. It also contains anti-fungal property which controls occurrence of dandruff.
How to use Aloe Vera for Dandruff Treatment.
To use Aloe Vera for treatment, apply the aloe Vera gel on the scalp and massage gently. Leave it on the scalp for a few minutes then wash it off. Aloe Vera can also be consumed as it has many health benefits including cleansing the body, as dandruff is also associated with too much toxins in the body.
Neem oil is an effective oil treatment for dandruff. Since neem oil can be too strong for the scalp, its good to mix it with other oils such as coconut oil or olive oil before using it.
How to use Neem oil for Dandruff Treatment.
To use it in treatment of dandruff, mix it with other oils and apply on the scalp and massage gently. Leave it on the scalp for around 20 minutes then shampoo your hair.

Apple cider vinegar contains antibacterial and anti-fungal properties which help to maintain a healthy scalp. It also helps to balance the PH of the scalp and prevents products build up in the scalp that could lead to formation of dandruff.

Brushing and Massaging
Scalp massage using oils helps to boost blood circulation which promotes overall hair health and also helps to reduce dandruff on the scalp. Regular massage and brushing the hair removes skin flakes leaving the scalp dandruff free. Tea tree and Rosemary oils are good for massaging as they also stimulate hair growth.
