Kapsabet Boys High School is a public national boys’ boarding school in Kapsabet, Nandi County. It has a long tradition of academic achievement, discipline and student leadership. Its motto is Strive to Excel.
History
The school’s history dates to the 1920s, when it was established as a Government African School. The official school website refers to both 1924 and 1925 as founding dates on different pages, so the precise founding year should be verified from its historical records. The institution later developed into a major national school.
Academics and activities
The school emphasises science, mathematics, languages, humanities and the development of students through leadership, clubs, sport and community service. Prospective families should check which senior-school pathways and subject combinations are offered for the current intake.
Admissions and placement
Students should follow the official Ministry of Education selection and placement process. Confirm joining letters, reporting dates, boarding requirements and school rules through the administration.
KCSE results and fees
Kapsabet Boys has historically achieved strong KCSE results, but a result from one year should never be described as current performance. Request the latest authenticated examination summary and approved fees notice from the school. Verify any payment account before sending money.
