The Opposition has for the first time come clean about what it intends to achieve by bringing down the Government of President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Deputy, William Ruto, with corruption scandals.
Addressing a Press Conference yesterday, CORD legislators led by Ugunja MP, Opiyo Wandayi, said they were happy with the infighting within the ruling Jubilee Coalition after former Devolution Cabinet Secretary, Anne Waiguru, linked National Assembly Majority Leader, Aden Duale, and Elgeyo Marakwet Senator, Kipchumba Murkomen, to the theft of sh 791 million at the National Youth Service (NYS).
Wandayi said CORD stands to reap big from the collapse of Jubilee and that it will keep the fire on the war against corruption burning to ensure Jubilee crumbles.
The CORD legislators also asked Duale and Murkomen to step aside from their current positions to allow for independent investigations into the NYS scandal in which they are key suspects.
