Flavoured syrup base- qs

Pharmacology

Disodium Hydrogen Citrate is used for the alkalinisation of acidic urine. The average PH of the urine is acidic i.e (5.3-6). In certain conditions like cystitis it tends to become more acidic and creates problems like irritation of the mucous membrane of the bladder and urethra which causes burning, dysuria and frequency of urination.

Disodium Hydrogen Citrate is mildly alkaline which helps to bring the PH of the urine back to its normal level or maintain it at slightly alkaline level to reduce urinary symptoms

Indications/Uses

Cital is indicated in relieving urinary tract infections, in relieving the burning sensation and dysuria and in acidity following vomiting, diarrhoea. Also used as an adjuvant to urinary antibiotics

How to Use

Dilute in a glass of water
