Cooperative Bank of Kenya Mobile Banking: About MCo-op Cash
MCo-op Cash is a Co-operative Bank mobile banking service which enables you to access a variety of banking, money transfer and payment services. All you need is your ID Card/Passport and a registered mobile phone number, it doesn’t matter which mobile phone network you are on.

-DEPOSIT/SAVE money up to any amount
-SEND money to another MCo-op Cash/Co-op Account/SACCO Account
-SEND money to other Mobile Money Services e.g MPESA
-WITHDRAW money at a Co-op Agent or Co-op ATM
-TRANSFER money to and from your Co-op Account/SACCO Account
-Buy AIRTIME for any mobile number
-PAY BILLS e.g KPLC, DSTV, ZUKU, STARTIMES
-Pay for GOODS & SERVICES
-Pay FEES e.g School Fees, Rent
-BULK PAYMENTS processing
-LIPA NA MPESA/ PAYBILL settlement service
-Apply and pay for a LOAN
-Check BALANCE or get a STATEMENT

USSD AND WAP
Dial *667# or use the app and follow instructions
Receive an SMS confirming registration
Make Sure
Your ID/Passport number is correct
Your names appear exactly as your ID/Passport
Your date of birth is entered correctly e.g. 12121990
ATM
Select the OTHER SERVICES menu option.
Select the UTILITY PAYMENTS menu option.
Select the MOBILE BANKING REG menu option

1.DEPOSIT MONEY
At Co-op Kwa Jirani:
• Go to your nearest Co-op Agent
• Give in the cash and your MCo-op Cash (mobile) number
• The agent will enter details on his machine and print 2 receipts
• Receive an SMS confirming the deposit
• Sign one receipt and take the other as your copy
From MPESA:
• Go to ‘Lipa na Mpesa’
• Select ‘PAY BILL’
• Enter business number 400200
• Enter MCo-op Cash (mobile)
• Follow the instructions
Note:
MCo-op Cash does not have a maximum account balance.
2. SEND MONEY
From MCo-op Cash to MCO-OP CASH:
• Log into MCo-op Cash
• Select ‘MCO-OP CASH’
• Select ‘SEND MCO-OP CASH’
• Follow the instructions From Co-op account to MCO-OP CASH:
• Log into MCo-op Cash
• Select ‘MOBILE MONEY’
• Select ‘MCO-OP CASH’
• Follow the instructions From Co-op account / MCo-op Cash to MPESA:
• Log into MCo-op Cash
• Select ‘MOBILE MONEY’
• Select ‘MPESA’
• Follow the instructions
Note:
Sending money from MCo-op Cash to MCo-op Cash is FREE of charge!
2.WITHDRAW MONEY
At Co-op ATM:
• Log into MCo-op Cash
• Select ‘WITHDRAW CASH’
• Select ‘ATM’
• Follow the instructions
• Receive an SMS with a SECRET CODE
• Use the secret code to do ‘MCO-OP CASH WITHDRAWAL’ at any Co-op ATM within 30 Minutes
At Co-op Kwa Jirani:
• Go to your nearest Co-op Kwa Jirani
• Log into MCo-op Cash
• Select ‘WITHDRAW CASH’
• Select ‘AGENT’
• Enter agent number
• Follow the instructions
• Receive an SMS with a REFERENCE NUMBER
• Use the reference number, your MCo-op Cash (mobile) number, and your original
ID/Passport to complete the withdrawal
Note:
• Withdrawing at an ATM costs Kes 30 for any amount up to Kes 40,000
• You can withdraw up to Kes 40,000 per transaction and up to Kes 200,000 per day
4. APPLY FOR A LOAN,
RECEIVE AND REPAY
• Log into MCo-op Cash
• Select ‘LOANS’
• Select ‘APPLY LOAN’
• Follow the instructions
• If loan is approved, you will receive the money in your MCo-op Cash
Note:
• Flexi (salary advance) –up to Kes 100,000 repaid in 1 month or 3 months
• Secured loan –up to Kes 200,000 repaid in 1 month
• Business loan –up to Kes 50,000 repaid in1 month
5. PAY SCHOOL FEES
From Co-op Account / MCo-op cash
• Log into MCo-op Cash
• Select ‘OTHER PAYMENTS’
• Select ‘SCHOOL FEES’
• Enter the school business no. (school code)
• Follow the instructions
• Receive an SMS confirming payment
From Mpesa Paybill number 400222
• Go to ‘Lipa na Mpesa’
• Select ‘PAY BILL’
• Enter business number 400222
• Enter account number as below: School code followed by # followed by student
number. E.g. 1059#1234
• Follow the instructions
• Receive an SMS confirming payment
6. BUY AIRTIME for Safaricom or Airtel
• Log into MCo-op Cash
• Select ‘BUY AIRTIME’
• Follow the instructions
7. PAY UTILITY BILLS e.g. KPLC, DSTV
• Log into MCo-op Cash
• Select ‘PAY BILL’
• Follow the instructions
8. LINK YOUR CO-OP ACCOUNTS to MCo-op Cash
• Insert the account ATM card at any Co-op ATM
• Enter the ATM PIN
• Select ‘UTILITY PAYMENTS’
• Select ‘MCO-OP CASH REGISTRATION / ACCOUNT LINKING’
• Enter your mobile number (MCo-op Cash number), and confirm
• Get a receipt confirming that the account has been linked
SEND MONEY FOR FREE! From MCo-op Cash to MCo-op Cash
WITHDRAWAL CHARGE: 30/-for any amount up to Kes 40,000, at any Co-op ATM
