Pharmacology/Action
Calcium Dobesilate is a vasoprotector. It has a vasoprotective action due to its nitric oxide donor property. It also maintains the normal blood flow in the vessels due to its anti-platelet and fibrinolytic activities. Calcium Dobesilate also prevents the vacular complications due to diabetes
Side Effects
Drug induced fever, epigastric pain, gastric irritation, pruritis, skin rashes and agranulocytosis
