Grade six learners sat for their final exam in primary school in November 2022. The exam was Kenya Primary School Education Assessment (KPSEA). All the Primary school results will be determined by the School Based Assessment (SBA), which is done every year in the upper primary classes, and the five-subject summative national examination.
60 percent of the score will come from SBA(School Based Assessment) spread over Grade four, five, and six and 40 percent from the summative report.
The results will not however determine placement to junior high school and is only meant to determine the progress of the grade 6 learners. This is according to announcement made by Hon. Ezekiel Machogu the cabinet secretary for education.
