Hon. Dr. Mwenje High School is a mixed day secondary school in Kariobangi South, Nairobi. Historical directions place the school near Mutarakwa Road in the Eastlands area.
School ownership and status
Published directories disagree about the institution’s ownership. Older listings describe it as public, while the ShuleZote school directory categorises it as privately owned with religious sponsorship. Families should confirm its legal registration, ownership and senior-school status with the Ministry of Education before applying or paying.
Academic learning
The school has traditionally provided education to boys and girls. Ask its administration about available Grade 10 pathways, current teaching staff, school facilities, accessibility, clubs and other student activities.
Admissions
Confirm whether the school uses the public Ministry of Education placement system or a different authorised admissions procedure. Obtain a written admission offer with reporting instructions and a clear list of required documents.
Fees and KCSE results
Request a current written fee schedule and verified payment channel. Eligibility for public funding may depend on the school’s verified status. Academic outcomes should be assessed through authenticated KCSE results for named examination years.
