IEBC Regional Offices in Kenya: Contacts and Office Finder

The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) manages elections, voter registration and electoral boundaries in Kenya. It operates through national, regional, county and constituency electoral offices. Residents should confirm an office’s current location before visiting because older directories may contain addresses of offices that have moved.

IEBC headquarters

Postal address: P.O. Box 45371–00100, Nairobi.
Historically published offices: Anniversary Towers, University Way, Nairobi.
Historically published telephone: 020 2877000.
Historically published email: info@iebc.or.ke.
Official website: iebc.or.ke.

Check the current contact information and visitor location on the IEBC website; an older headquarters address is not proof that public services are still offered there.

Regional electoral office areas

IEBC has historically maintained regional coordination offices serving areas such as South Nyanza, Central Nyanza, Central Rift, North Rift, South Rift, North Coast, South Coast, Lower Eastern, Central Eastern and Upper Eastern, in addition to officers serving other regions. County and constituency electoral offices may be the best contact points for ordinary registration services.

How to find the correct current office

1. Visit IEBC’s official website and locate its contact or field-office information.
2. Identify your county and constituency.
3. Confirm the office location, working hours and services with IEBC before travelling.
4. Carry original identification documents when seeking registration services, following IEBC guidance.

Voter registration and verification

IEBC’s official voter verification portal allows a voter to check registered particulars using an ID or passport number. Registration itself is carried out in person at designated centres by authorised officers, subject to the current exercise and legal requirements.
