Kahawa Garrison Secondary School, also referred to as Kahawa Garrison Senior School, is a public mixed day school in Kasarani Sub-County, Nairobi. It is situated in the Kahawa Garrison area, associated with a military establishment, and provides secondary education for boys and girls.
School category and location
An October 2026 education report identifies the institution as a C4 mixed day senior school. It lists the Ministry of Education code as P1010427 and KNEC examination code 20407002. Confirm the correct code and latest placement classification in the official admissions system.
Motto and education
The traditional motto is Education for Victory. The school’s mission has focused on becoming a centre of educational excellence. Students participate in academic and co-curricular learning, with programmes intended to develop practical skills, discipline and leadership.
Admissions and senior-school pathways
Parents should use the Ministry of Education’s official Grade 10 selection and placement platform. Verify the exact STEM, Social Sciences or Arts and Sports subject combinations the school offers during the relevant intake. Do not assume every pathway listed in a general school profile is available in every term.
Fees and KCSE results
Public day secondary education receives government funding, but parents should ask the school about any approved charges, meals and other requirements. An education report published in October 2026 describes its fees and support arrangements, but confirm the latest notice rather than treating past figures as current. KCSE performance should be assessed using year-specific authenticated data.
