Kathuri Murungi is a Kenyan politician and a current Member of Parliament for South Imenti Constituency in Meru County. Murungi was elected in 2017 as an independent candidate and an Aspirant Member of Parliament of Republic of Kenya representing South Imenti Constituency.

In March 2013, Kathuri joined the Kenya National Assembly as a Member of Parliament for South Imenti Constituency.
