This is a four months course available to professionals who use monitoring and evaluation skills in their day-to-day work and intend to enhance their work.
This course provides a foundation in the area on monitoring and evaluation preparing the learners for professional courses at higher levels. It covers various M&E issues in program planning, implementation and impact to the stakeholders. The course is to be offered in part time, distance learning and full time.

DIPLOMA IN MONITORING AND EVALUATION
This is a very comprehensive and intensive training in the field of monitoring and evaluation. It equips the learners with hands on skills and competencies in the M&E. The course is to be offered in part time, distance learning and full time. The duration of the course is one year plus an internship of 3-6 months which can run concurrently with the studies.

HIGHER DIPLOMA IN MONITORING AND EVALUATION
The goal of the Higher Diploma monitoring and evaluation is to train competent professionals and personnel as well as M&E practitioners. This programme seeks to equip the candidates with knowledge, skills and attitudes that will help them to respond more efficiently to the demands posed by any work setting, development program, government institution or any intervention designed to viagra generic bring change to the society. The principal aim of the course is to equip the students with a sound knowledge and understanding of a broad range of topics in Monitoring and Evaluation. This knowledge will include the appreciation not only of theory and fact but also the strengths and limitations of development programs, as well as its applications.
An applicant must satisfy one of the following minimum requirements: –
Be a holder of a certificate in secondary examination (K.C.S.E) with a minimum of grade C
Be a holder of a certificate in Monitoring and Evaluation from a recognized institution recognized by the commission of higher education
Be a holder of a diploma in any area of social sciences from a tertiary college recognized by the commission of higher education

This is a two years program that constitutes six terms of 15 weeks.
