Grade 10 admissions and senior school pathways
Kenya’s Competency-Based Education system provides three broad senior school pathways: Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM); Social Sciences; and Arts and Sports Science. Learners select preferred senior schools and subject combinations through the Ministry of Education’s Grade 10 Selection and Placement System. Selection and placement are handled through the official system, not by relying on historical school directory entries.
