looter confesses the property she owns from WAIGURU’s mess. The ongoing investigations against the key suspects in the theft of sh 791 million from the National Youth Service (NYS) has taken an interesting twist after the mother of the key suspect, Ben Gethi, changed her earlier story and confessed to everything.

Charity Wangui Gethi, finally admitted that she owns some of the properties being investigated by the Assets Recovery Agency (ARA), which were allegedly acquired using the looted NYS millions, despite denying owning them in January.

She acknowledged being the owner of the properties which were bought on her behalf by one John Kago, also a suspect in the NYS scandal.

However, she said that she bought some of the properties in question using her own money and wants the court to unfreeze them.
