Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission into the programmes offered at the Main Campus and the Narok Town, Kajiado,

Kilgoris, Bomet, Nyandarua, Kisii & Nairobi Satellite Campuses. The reporting dates for September 2016 intake will be in September 2016.

Maasai Mara University admission Requirements

Applicants admitted into programmes offered at Maasai Mara University must meet the following general minimum entry requirements in addition to specific subject requirements for each programme.

A. Certificate Programmes

Minimum mean grade of a D+ at KCSE or equivalentMaasai Mara University

B. Diploma Programmes

1 year Diploma programmes require a minimum mean grade of C plain at KCSE
2 year Diploma programmes require a minimum mean grade of C- (minus) at KCSE
3 year Diploma programmes (Diploma in Primary Education /Diploma in Secondary Education) require a minimum mean grade of C+ at KCSE
In addition, applicants must meet the specific subject requirements for each programme

C. Undergraduate Programmes

Minimum mean grade of C+ at KCSE OR
2 principals and 1 subsidiary pass at “A” level OR
A Diploma in a relevant field of study from a recognized institution.
In addition, applicants must meet the specific subject requirements for each programme

D. Masters Programmes

Bachelors Degree, Second Class (Upper Division) in a relevant field of study or its equivalent from a recognized University OR
Bachelors Degree, Second class Honors (Lower Division), with at least two years post qualification work experience OR
Bachelors Degree with a Pass and a Postgraduate Diploma in a relevant field of study.

E. PhD Programmes

Masters degree in a relevant field of study, from a recognized University.
