How to apply for Moi University
- Find the intended programme in the admissions catalogue and review its qualifications.
- Choose the correct route: self-sponsored application or admission after KUCCPS placement.
- For direct applications, create an account in the online admissions system and supply the required personal and academic information.
- Submit the form, save the application ID, and follow the university’s current application fee instructions.
- Check the application status in the portal and download any joining documents after admission.
The admissions system provides instructions for self-sponsored applicants and KUCCPS-sponsored students. Do not pay any fee before checking the official portal for the correct amount and payment method.
Moi University student portal
The university’s newer student portal is used for student services. An official 2026 guide explains how existing students can use the password-reset option if they lack an account password. For new students, the first-year information website carries notices on admissions letters, course registration, institutional email accounts and hostel booking.
Hostel booking and accommodation
Hostel applications are subject to university announcements and the availability of rooms at the relevant campus. For example, the 2026/2027 first-year notices announced a specific hostel booking opening period. Always use the most recent university notice rather than a previous year’s deadline.
