Nominated ODM MP, Isaac Mwaura, has for the first time spoken about the mistreatment and humiliation he went through in the hands of former Devolution Cabinet Secretary, Miss Anne Waiguru.
In a small brief on Tuesday, Mwaura who heads the Albino Association of Kenya said Waiguru was very selfish and arrogant and that is why God punished her for thinking that she is not equal to other Kenyans.
Mwaura said Waiguru thought she was too powerful and when she shared a lift with her at Nation Centre, she was looking at him as if he was an animal.
“One day I was in a lift with her at nation centre and you could see the sense of discomfort. I was later informed that at her ministry, she couldn’t share a lift with anyone. Power is so fluid…it’s all vanity of vanities…ni ubatili,” Mwaura said.
Mwaura also wondered how a powerful Cabinet Secretary would end up begging for assistance from the Government just like an average citizen.
“Isn’t it amazing how power is fickle? How could Ann Mumbi Waiguru move from being the most powerful cabinet minister almost rivaling the Deputy President to being escorted by boda boda riders and muscle men? She claims, that her life is in danger and that she needs ‘serikali to saidia’ her with security,” Mwaura added.
Over the last six months, Waiguru has fallen from grace to grass and she is now a common woman after she was accused of stealing Sh 791 million from the National Youth Service (NYS).
