Wilbroda- Biography, Husband, Son, Dating, Francis Ngira, Family.

Wilbroda whose real names are Jackie Nyaminde acts in the popular television show known as papa Shirandula where she acts as the wife to papa Shirandula. She is also a co-host at Citizen Radio morning program called Jambo Kenya.

Background

Wilbroda grew up in Nairobi West, Lang’ata and Rongai and she is the first born in a family of six. She attended Kongoni and Uhuru Gardens Primary Schools in Nairobi for her primary education and Koru Girls’ High School .

Career

“I used to do a lot of Luo plays at the Kenya National Theatre. So when Charles Bukeko approached me with a script of a Luo woman character, I auditioned.” She narrated: She however says that she wasn’t interested at first when Charles Bukeko approached her with a script for the ‘Wilbroda’ character.

Family

She is a single mother to one son called Xolani Amin Okello and she admits that being a single mother has not been easy. She says that the dynamics of her relationship with her son are affected by her single-mom status.
