Athanas Misiko Wafula Wamunyinyi is a Kenyan politician and a current Member of Parliament for Kanduyi Constituency in Bungoma County. Wafula Wamunyinyi has been a member of the FORD Kenya, since 2003 and an Aspirant Member of Parliament of Republic of Kenya representing Kanduyi constituency. He is now the chairman of FORD Kenya replacing Moses Wetangula.

Between 2003 and 2006, Wafula Wamunyinyi attended the University of Nairobi to take a Bachelor of Psychology in Counseling. In 2011, he joined United Nations based in Nairobi to attain Civil-Military Coordination Course and in 2012 went abroad to join Cambridge University to pursue a Certificate in Strategic Communication. In 2003, Wafula Wamunyinyi joined the politics, vied and won to become a Member of Parliament for Kanduyi Constituency till 2007 though lost the following election, that’s a 2007 election, to his opponent. Between March, 2013 and August, 2017 he ran for parliamentarian seat where he won and became a Member of Parliament for Kanduyi Constituency and re-elected in August 2017 as a Member of Parliament for Kanduyi Constituency.
