Between 1975 and 1981, James Lusweti attended Sanandiki Primary School for his Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE). He passed well and went to Kimukungi Secondary School for his Kenya Certificate of Education (KCSE) from 1982 to 1985. He then joined Chepkoilel University to take a Diploma in Public Administration from 2011 to 2012.
