Butula Boys High School is a public national boys’ boarding school in Butula Sub-County, Busia County, along the Ejinja–Port Victoria road. The school has developed from a small community institution into an important school in western Kenya.
History
The school’s first class began in 1964 with 45 boys accommodated at St Paul’s High School, Amukura. The learners transferred to the present school grounds in 1965. Its educational mission emphasises knowledge, skills, positive values and productive citizenship.
