Daniel Kitonga Maanzo is a Kenyan politician and a current Member of Parliament for Makueni Constituency in Makueni County. Daniel Maanzo has been a member of the Wiper Democratic Movement (WDM-K), since 2013 and an Aspirant Member of Parliament of Republic of Kenya representing Makueni Constituency.

Education
In 1989, Daniel Maanzo went to Starehe Boys’ Centre & School for his Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE), where he sat for his exam in 1992. From 1993 to 1998, he attended the University of Nairobi to pursue a Bachelor of Laws. Later in 1999, Daniel Maanzo joined the Kenya School of Law to take a Diploma in Law.

Daniel Maanzo got married to Ms Catherine Mutheu Mwia. The two live with their children in Kisembe Kipevu Karen Hardy, Nairobi.

In 1998, he got his first job at M/s Pheroze Nowrojee & Company as a Pupilage and in 2001, went to Kenya Polytechnic where he worked as a Lecturer. Between 2002 and 2003, Pheroze Nowrojee & Company employed him as an Associate Advocate. In 2003, he moved to Mwenge House/National Rainbow Alliance (NARC) as a Legal Advisor/Counsel till 2005. From 2003 to 2006, he worked at Sheth & Wathigo Advocates as a Partner. In 2006, he was employed by Orange Democratic Movement Kenya (ODM-K) as a Legal Advisor & First Registered Chairman. Since 2007, he is working at Maanzo & Company Advocates as a Senior Partner & Legal Consultant. In 2008, he joined the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports as a Secretary and from 2009 to 2012, at Ministry of Cooperatives Development and Marketing as a Secretary. In March 2013, Daniel Maanzo joined the Kenya National Assembly as a Member of Parliament for Makueni Constituency.
