David Gikaria is a Kenyan politician and a current Member of Parliament for Nakuru Town East Constituency in Nakuru County under Jubilee Party (JP). Gikaria has been a member of the Jubilee Party (JP), since 2013 and an Aspirant Member of Parliament of Republic of Kenya representing Nakuru Town East Constituency.

Gikaria started his education studies in 1973 at St. Theresa Primary School for his Certificate of Primary Education (CPE). From 1980 to 1983, Gikaria proceeded to Menengai High school for his O-Level certificate. Between 1984 and 1985, still at Menengai High School he acquired his A-Level certificate. In 1989, Gikaria joined the Strathmore University to study a Certified Public Accountant I & II till 1990. From 2005 to 2006, Gikaria attended the Kenya Institute of Management (KIM) to undertake a Diploma I & II. Between 2012 and 2016, Gikaria joined the Mount Kenya University in Nakuru Campus to pursue a Bachelor of Business Management in Purchases and Supplies Management.

Gikaria was employed by Football Kenya Federation (FKF) as a chairman in Rift Valley Branch. From 1986 to 2001, Gikaria got another job at Pyrethrum Board of Kenya as an auditor. In 2002, moved to the Nakuru Municipal Council as a Councillor in Lake View Ward till 2007. Between 2008 and 2010, Gikaria worked at Nakuru Municipal Council as His Worship the Mayor in Nakuru Town. In 2011, again in Nakuru Municipal Council, he was a Councilor for Lake View Ward until 2013. In March 2013, Gikaria joined the Kenya National Assembly as a Member of Parliament for Nakuru Town East Constituency.
