Gideon Mutemi Mulyungi is a Kenyan politician and a current Member of Parliament for Mwingi Central Constituency in Kitui County under Wiper Democratic Movement Party of Kenya (WDM-K). Gideon Mulyungi has been a member of the Wiper Democratic Movement Party of Kenya (WDM-K), since 2017 and an Aspirant Member of Parliament of Republic of Kenya representing Mwingi Central Constituency.

From 1993 to 2005, he his first job at Tectura International as a Director and later in 2006, moved to Tectonics International as Managing Director/Chairman and worked there for a year. Between 2008 and 2011, Gideon Mulyungi joined the Ministry of Public Works-Government of Kenya as a Works Secretary. Then Gideon Mulyungi, in 2012 till 2013, still at Ministry of Public Works-Government of Kenya, was promoted to Permanent Secretary. Between 2014 and 2015, Gideon Mulyungi joined the Tectonics as a Chairman. In 2015, in Wiper Democratic Movement, Gideon Mulyungi was appointed Executive Director. In 2017, he joined the Kenya National Assembly as a Member of Parliament for Mwingi Central.
