Former Youth Enterprise Development Fund CEO, Gor Semelango, has finally revealed about his ‘relationship’ with former Devolution Cabinet Secretary, Miss Anne Waiguru, when the two were working together at Harambee House.
In a statement to Kenyans on Thursday, Gor who is now a businessman, revealed how Waiguru engineered his removal by sending the Ethics and Anti Corruption Commission (EACC) sleuths to his office to try and get any shred of evidence to use against his removal.
“I remember a call from my Personal Assistant, David Gitari, telling me that EACC officials dismantled my computer in my Fund’s office as Waiguru sent them to try getting any shred of evidence to use as an excuse to engineer my removal for non-looting compliance. She even asked a former top official of the EACC to look for anything to fix me only to be told that I kept all records of my official correspondence regarding my efforts to fight graft at the fund with copies to all relevant departments of Government,” Semelango said.
He said after he was sacked because he was contemplating taking Waiguru to court for wrongful dismissal but his auntie, Orie Rogo-Manduli, told him to leave it God and not participate in that court process.
“Our God is a God of wonders, a year later, Waiguru’s house was raided by Anti-graft sleuths and her children’s bedroom searched,” Gor added.
