Joshua Aduma Owuor is a Kenyan politician and a current Member of Parliament for Nyakach Constituency in Kisumu County. Joshua Owuor has been a member of Orange Democratic Movement (ODM), since 2013 and an Aspirant Member of Parliament of Republic of Kenya representing Nyakach constituency.

Later in 1986, he moved to Ambira High School for his ‘A’ Level Certificate. In 1990, Joshua Owuor joined the University of Nairobi to pursue a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) and in 1994, joined the Kenya School of Law to take a Diploma in Law.

Between 1991 and 1992, Joshua Owuor got a job at Subordinate Law Courts in Kisumu as a Student Intern and in 1993, he moved to Lake Tanners Company Limited as a Legal Officer, later and Company Secretary. From 1994 to 2001, Joshua Owuor joined the Private Legal Practice as an Advocate and in 2004, moved to Ministry of Local Government as a Town Clerk in Kisumu. In 2006, Joshua Owuor worked at the Ministry of Local Government as a Town Clerk in Bondo and later in 2007, joined the Ministry of local Government again as a Town Clerk in Garissa. In 2008, he was employed at Ministry of Local Government as a Director City Hall. In March 2013, Joshua Owuor joined the Kenya National Assembly as a Member of Parliament for Nyakach Constituency.
