KALONZO finally speaks about his meeting with UHURU and his future in CORD! A must read.
Former Vice President, Kalonzo Musyoka, calmed down speculations that he is planning to abandon CORD leader, Raila Odinga, for President Uhuru Kenyatta.
Addressing a press conference on Tuesday, Wiper Democratic Movement chairman, David Musila, said Kalonzo cannot abandon Raila Odinga and said that the rumour that Kalonzo is ditching CORD is being fuelled by Jubilee operatives who are trying to cause disunity in CORD.
“We are tired of nonsense. Those are malicious claims by Jubilee operatives keen on dividing the CORD coalition. Their aim is to discredit our party leader out of fear of the coalition’s unity,” Musila, who is also the Kitui Senator, said.

Over the weekend, Kalonzo shocked the entire nation when he said he will be among those who will welcome Uhuru to Kitui County for a tour of Ukambani that will begin on May 19th.
But Musila said that this does not mean that Kalonzo Musyoka has agreed to work with Uhuru.
“There is nothing wrong with Kalonzo receiving the President. People should not read anything into it. Meeting someone does not mean you agree with their principles,” said Musila.
“It does not mean Kalonzo should run away on seeing Uhuru. We are principled leaders in a mature democracy. In Parliament we sit, debate and dine with Jubilee MPs but that does not mean we are in unity,” he added.
But a woman who is close to Kalonzo’s wife, Pauline, said the Wiper leader has declared his interest in working with Jubilee in 2017 for the sake of development in Ukambani region.
