Makueni Governor Kivutha Kibwana and Elgeyo Marakwet Senator Kipchumba Murkomen claim illegal surveillance by State agents to intimidate them for not supporting BBI.
Prof. Kivutha Kibwana on his social media accounts claimed that the State has deployed drones over his official residence on a spying mission. Kipchumba Murkomen also alleged that unknown persons were flying surveillance drones over his house on Wednesday morning.
The Kenya Civil Aviation Authority (KCAA) which regulates the aviation industry, denied knowledge of the drones and asked them to file a complaint with the police so that investigations can be done to establish the owners of the drone.
The two have vowed not to be intimidated to change their stand on BBI unless the document is amended to address their concerns.
