Lucy Wa Ngunjiri is the founder and senior pastor at Prayers Beyond Ministry which is located in Ngara Primary school. She is also a Gospel radio presenter in “Itaha Ria Muoyo” on Kameme Fm. Her gospel show on Kameme FM is the most listened show among Kikuyu radio stations.
Family
Lucy Wa Ngunjiri is married to Lameck Ngunjiri and together they have two children Leon Ngunjiri and hope Lyne Ngunjiri.
Background
Lucy was born and raised in Muranga, Muthithi Location. After completing her primary and secondary education she secured a job as a house girl in Buruburu Estate where she served faithfully. Lucy Wa Ngunjiri later started hawking second hand clothes and it is then that she met her long life partner Lameck Ngunjiri.
Career
After the birth of their first son, Lucy Wa Ngunjiri got a job as a marketer at Kameme Fm where she gradually rose to other positions of becoming a radio host.
Prayers Beyond Boundaries
Prayers Beyond Boundaries is a Ministry whose mandate is to pray for the Nation. The ministry also cares for 68 children from areas which were affected by the Violence after the 2007 elections and now live in the Prayers Beyond Boundaries Home Care in Mai-Mahiu.
