See what AL SHABAAB are doing to families of KDF soldiers they abducted in El Adde attack

Barely a month since the deadly El Adde attack in which Al Shabaab terrorists killed several Kenya Defence Forces (KDF) soldiers, wounded scores and captured dozens, the militants seem to have started contacting the families of the PoW that they captured.

This was revealed by one family from Maili Nne, in Uasin Gishu County, which revealed that the Al Shabaab contacted them with the news of their kin.

According to the family of the missing soldier, who now appears to be have captured by the militants, the Al Shabaab called them using the phone number that belongs to their kin.

The distraught family noted that since the attack, they have kept calling the cell phone of their son, but most of the time, it goes without being answered while sometimes it is switched off, something that has given them hope that their kin was still alive.

However, they said that they were contacted one day by the militants who then started to negotiate asking why President Uhuru Kenyatta had sent KDF soldiers, including their kin, to kill innocent Muslims in Somalia.

They said they talked with Al Shabaab for close to one hour and thereafter the militants warned them never to contact them again.

This comes even as the Government is yet to give exact figures of the KDF soldiers killed, wounded and captured during the attack.
