St George’s Girls Secondary School is a public girls’ boarding secondary school on Dennis Pritt Road in Kilimani, Nairobi. The school promotes learning, leadership, self-discipline and opportunities for girls to develop their abilities.
Background and school development
The institution’s historical account traces its beginning to 1986 as a mixed day school. It subsequently became a girls’ boarding school, with boys transferring to Nairobi Milimani Secondary School. Its traditional motto is Integrity and Knowledge.
Vision and educational mission
The school aims to deliver quality education and support learners’ intellectual, social and personal growth. Academic study is complemented by clubs, sport, creative activities, student leadership and guidance services. Its official school website describes science, ICT and innovation programmes, although current facilities should be confirmed when applying.
Grade 10 placement and admission
Confirm the school’s current senior-school classification, pathways and subject combinations using the Ministry of Education’s placement arrangements. Successful applicants should obtain a genuine joining letter covering reporting dates, uniforms, boarding items and documents.
Fees and KCSE results
School fees and payment details may change. Request the most recent signed fee schedule from administration. School academic performance should be reported for specific KCSE examination years using authenticated results, not undated rankings.
