Machakos Senator, Johnston Muthama, and his Kakamega counterpart, Dr. Boni Khalwale, now want a case filed against them by former Devolution Cabinet Secretary, Anne Waiguru, for exposing her affair with President Uhuru Kenyatta dismissed with immediate effect.
This is after Waiguru confessed everything about the NYS scandal and vindicated them in the process.
In her sworn affidavit, Waiguru admitted that they looted from NYS with the help of Jubilee’s top leaders Aden Duale (National Assembly Majority Leader) and Elgeyo Marakwet Senator, Kipchuma Murkomen, among others.
Through their lawyer, James Orengo, Muthama and Khalwale want to be set free because they never lied about Waiguru since she has confessed everything.
“I deny the allegations that the uttered words were defamatory since they were based on truth and Waiguru has been accused of embezzling public funds,” said Khalwale.
The two outspoken CORD Senators had claimed last year at Uhuru Park that Waiguru was having an affair with Uhuru that’s why he keeps protecting her whenever she is accused of stealing.
