Ali Hassan Joho faces death penalty for striping UHURU’s lady as he’s ordered to surrender to police

The tug of war between Mombasa Governor, Ali Hassan Joho, and the Government of President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Deputy, William Ruto, has taken another twist after Government ordered him to record a statement with the police against charges of robbery with violence.

This is in light of an incident of stripping of a TNA woman in Malindi during the just concluded by-election in which the Jubilee Government alleges Joho was involved.

According to Uhuru’s Government, Joho used his bodyguards to strip naked the poor TNA woman after allegedly catching her red-handed bribing voters to elect JAP candidate, Philip Charo, in the by-election.

On Monday, Joho confirmed that he had been ordered to record a statement over robbery with violence whose penalty is death.

“I have been requested to record a statement in Malindi tomorrow (today) against the charges of “Robbery with Violence” that apparently took place during the Malindi by elections,” Joho said.

However, Joho said that he will not honour the request on Tuesday because he will be busy attending to his official duties as Mombasa Governor.Ali Hassan Joho

“I shall comply with the request on Thursday this week because I will be attending to official duties on Tuesday and Wednesday,” he stated.

Joho now faces a possible death sentence for stripping the woman.
