Last week, Citizen TV aired a promo video of an exclusive interview about President Uhuru Kenyatta’s private life that was filed by Dennis Itumbi’s girlfriend, Jacque Maribe, who is a senior political reporter at Royal Media Services.

Many Kenyans were eagerly waiting to watch the exclusive interview that made Jacque behave like a small god in the newsroom but she was embarrassed badly after President Uhuru Kenyatta’s handlers ordered her not to air it.

According to sources, Uhuru’s handlers reviewed the interview and realized that they were scenes that would have embarrassed the President if it was aired.

A case in point is where the President is seen breaking the law by driving without fastening a safety belt.

The move by State House to have the interview cancelled left Jacque with an egg on her face since she was bragging to her colleagues about how she is connected to the high and mighty more than any other journalist in the media industry.
