In 1980, he moved to Machakos Boys High School for his Kenya Advanced Certificate of Education (KACE). From 1983 to 1986, he joined the University of Nairobi to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Quality Control and Computer Science. Then in 1986 till 1987, Erastus Nzioka went back to University of Nairobi for a Post graduate Diploma in Computer Science. Between 1992 and 1994, he went to Thunder Kenya Ltd as a Trainee Programme Manager and in 1994 till 2006, Executive Support Consultants Ltd employed him as a Managing Director. Since 2005 till now he is working at the Modern Technology Services Ltd as a Director.
