As National Assembly Majority Leader, Aden Duale, and Elgeyo Marakwet Senator, Kipchumba Murkomen, continue to deny any links to former Devolution Cabinet Secretary, Anne Waiguru, after she drew them into the multi-million shillings scandal at the National Youth Service (NYS), it has now emerged that the two were indeed Waiguru’s darlings and dealt with her about the same time.
This was revealed by Kapsaret MP, Oscar Sudi, who said it was Duale and Murkomen who forced him to withdraw his signature from the motion to impeach Waiguru, which had been filed by Nandi Hills MP, Alfred Keter.
Addressing the press yesterday at Parliament Buildings, Sudi begged Kenyans for forgiveness for betraying them by refusing to support Keter to impeach Waiguru after she looted NYS.
He noted that Duale and Murkomen were involved in the scandal right from the beginning and that’s why they fought tirelessly to protect Waiguru from being sacked for fear of being exposed.
