Nandi Hills MP, Alfred Keter, has vowed to reveal another multi -billion scandal pitting the Jubilee Government, Narok County Government and Maasai Mara Game Reserve.
Keter, who is one of Jubilee MPs fighting corruption in Kenya, said that a few powerful people were illegal beneficiaries of monies collected from the Maasai Mara Game reserve.
Terming the scandal the ‘Maasai Mara Cash Scandal’, Keter said that he would reveal the names of a few powerful people who were the sole beneficiaries of billions collected annually from the Maasai Mara Game Reserve.
“Narok is one of the richest Counties in Kenya but there is very little development yet a lot of revenue is generated from the Maasai Mara,” Keter, who was speaking at Emurua Dikirr Primary school, said.
Keter who was accompanied by Emurua Dikirr MP, Johana Ng’eno, and his Kapseret counterpart, Oscar Sudi, said he will soon names the individuals who have been stealing billions from Maasai Mara Game Reserve.
It is estimated that the reserve generates more than Sh 1.5 billion per year.
