How to check KASNEB examination results online
The official KASNEB Student Service Guide gives these steps:
- Open the official KASNEB student portal and log in with the email address and password attached to your student account.
- From the student dashboard, select Examinations Results.
- Use the examination-sitting filter to choose the applicable April, August or December examination session.
- Select Result Slip for the sitting you wish to review.
- View the result online or download the PDF result slip for your records.
- Check the candidate details, course and papers shown; report any inconsistencies through official KASNEB services.
KASNEB’s examinations run three times each year — April, August and December — according to its current examination resources. Results are only accessible after KASNEB releases them. A blank or unavailable result is not necessarily evidence that a student failed; check the announcement and contact KASNEB if the problem persists.

Are KASNEB results available by SMS?
KASNEB’s FAQ states that an SMS results service is available, but the shortcode and price published in this site’s 2016 article — 20558 and KSh 10 — have not been verified as current instructions. For your security, use the student portal first and obtain any current SMS procedure directly from KASNEB’s latest notices. Do not send registration numbers to unknown third-party numbers.
Lost password, unavailable slip or results queries
- Use the student portal’s password-recovery mechanism if you cannot log in.
- Confirm you registered and booked the correct examination sitting.
- Make sure you select the correct examination session and programme.
- Check KASNEB’s results release or examination notice before raising a missing-result query.
- For discrepancies, use KASNEB’s official support or confirmation-of-results procedure.
How to download an examination timetable
The official guide instructs candidates to open the Examination Booking section and select the student timetable. KASNEB also publishes downloadable exam timetables in its Examination Resources section. The timetable may differ by qualification and examination sitting.
