Yasmin Said, popularly known as ‘Maria’, is an actress who has attracted Kenyans adoration from her starring role in soap opera ‘Maria’ that airs on Citizen TV from Monday to Friday between 7.30 Pm and 8.00 Pm.
Maria is a Muslim girl who was born and brought up in Nairobi. She still lives with her parents in Nairobi.

Yasmin Said was born in the year 2000. In the year 2020, she is 20 years old.
Education
Yasmin Said schooled in a primary school within Nairobi and later joined Ribe Girls high school in Kilifi. She finished high school in the year 2018.
Career
Yasmin Said was still in high school at Ribe Girls High School when she saw the advertisement for auditions where she showcased her skills. She was given the role of a tomboy and although that day she was dressed in a long dress, she gave her best and her qualities impressed Lulu Hassan and Rashid Abdalla as it is what they had envisioned for the role.
Maria says that acting had never been her passion but thanks Lulu Hassan and Abdalla for discovering her Talent. She continues to say that she has always wanted to do law or Journalism and is still torn between pursuing Law and advancing her career in acting.
Role Model
Her role mode is Lulu Hassan as while in High school, she wanted to be a journalist and always admired Lulu Hassan. She also looks up to Brenda Wairimu whom she describes as great in acting.
Dating/Married?
Maria is not yet dating and says that for now she is aiming at joining college to study and working on her career growth.
